Back Kessa | Moroccan Hammam Back Exfoliator

Back Kessa | Moroccan Hammam Back Exfoliator

Color: Gray

The back is the part of the hammam ritual most of us can’t reach. Bellara’s back kessa fixes that. Hold a handle in each hand and draw it across damp, softened skin, and the textured weave lifts away surface buildup, leaving your back feeling smoother, softer and noticeably fresher.

It’s made from viscose, with handles you can grip when your hands are wet. Pair it with Moroccan Black Soap for the traditional hammam ritual, then finish with argan oil.

FAQs

Can I scrub my whole back on my own with this?
Yes, that’s what it’s made for. Hold a handle in each hand and work it across your back in firm, short strokes on damp skin. If your reach is limited, hold closer to the panel.

What does the padding do?
It gives the kessa body so it doesn’t bunch up or go limp when wet. The weave stays flat against your skin, and you get an even, steady surface to press with.

Do I need black soap with it?
It works on its own, but black soap softens the skin first, so the kessa lifts more buildup. The two work best together.

Can I use it on my arms and legs?
You can, but it’s designed for the back. A kessa glove gives you more control on the rest of your body.

How do I clean it, and how long will it last?
Rinse well after every use, squeeze out the water and hang it to dry fully. Padded items dry more slowly, so give it a full day between uses.

How often should I use it?
Once a week is a good starting point. Use it less often if your skin feels sensitive.

Is it suitable for sensitive skin?
The weave is textured. If your skin is sensitive, patch-test on a small area first and use light pressure.
