Black Cumin Seed Oil | 100% Cold-Pressed Moroccan Nigella Sativa for Face, Body & Hair
Black Cumin Seed Oil | 100% Cold-Pressed Moroccan Nigella Sativa for Face, Body & Hair
Bellara Black Cumin Seed Oil is cold-pressed from Nigella sativa seeds grown in Morocco — one of the plant's native growing regions — and left completely unrefined. Cold pressing is the slower method, but it is what preserves the oil's natural composition rather than stripping it out with heat.
You can tell an unrefined black seed oil by its character: deep amber in colour, with a warm, peppery, herbaceous aroma. An oil that looks pale or smells of nothing has usually been over-refined. Ours is deliberately the opposite — potent, aromatic and undiluted, which is exactly why it should always be blended with a carrier oil before it touches your skin. Deeply conditioning on face, body, hair and scalp, and beautiful as a base note in homemade fragrance.

FAQs
FAQs
Do I need to dilute it?
Yes, always. This is a potent, undiluted, strongly scented oil. Blend it with a carrier oil such as argan or jojoba before applying to skin.
Why is the aroma so strong?
Because it is unrefined. Warm, peppery and herbaceous is exactly what a properly cold-pressed black seed oil smells like. A neutral-smelling one has usually been over-refined.
Why does the colour vary between bottles?
Colour, aroma and sediment vary naturally with each harvest. This is normal in an unrefined oil and is not a fault.
Can I take it internally?
No. This is a cosmetic oil for external use only.
What should I dilute it with?
Argan oil is the traditional Moroccan pairing. Jojoba and sweet almond also work well.
Can I use it on my face if my skin is oily?
Dilute it, use it sparingly, and patch test first.
How should I store it?
Cool, dark, cap tightly closed. Unrefined oils oxidise faster than refined ones — use within 6 months of opening.
Do I really need to patch test?
Yes. Apply the diluted oil to your inner wrist and wait 24–48 hours. Discontinue if any irritation appears.
